Mobile apps are on the way

We're building apps for iOS and Android. Until they're ready, Astral works in your mobile browser - and we've put a lot of effort into making it feel as app-like as possible.

• Add Astral to your home screen to hide the browser UI.
• See badge counts on the app icon.
• Get push notifications when you're away from the app.

Install Astral as an app

   Open the web app in Chrome

   Press the "More" (⋮) button in the top-right corner

   Press "Install app"

   Done! You can open Astral from your home screen.

   Press the Share button (rectangle with upwards-pointing arrow)

   Press "Add to Home Screen"

   Press "Add" in the upper-right corner

   Done! You can open Astral from your home screen.

   Open the web app in Chrome or another browser with PWA support

   Press the install button (downwards-pointing arrow on monitor) in the address bar

   Press "Install" in the popup that appears

   Done! You can now open Astral as if it were a regular program.

This isn't a full replacement for the desktop app yet, and some things you'd expect from a mobile chat app are still missing.
